this is the first year since we've lived here that we've been in town for father's day weekend. our neighborhood has an annual father's day campout in the park...so fun! everyone sets up tents and an local business provides burgers and hot dogs. will was beyond excited. it was VERY hot...but believe it or not, he lasted all night long! i expected them to roll in at some point, but daddy said he was a champ. (they had a battery powered fan and daddy said that's what did the trick;) maybe next year emma kate will get to spend the night, too. she was not a happy camper that she had to be escorted home and sleep in her crib instead of a tent;) such a fun tradition...know daddy and our kiddos will have many wonderful memories of these campouts!
