well...poor gram & gramps. gramps returned home on Easter eve to find their house flooded. they'd been at our house since wednesday, so no telling when it actually happened. but it's bad. like had to have a company come and deal with everything...move all their stuff out, demo the damaged parts, move out of the house and hire a contractor to do a major overhaul bad. bless their hearts. but they have been amazing about it, even though i know it's so overwhelming. not so much worried about the "stuff"...just all of the headaches associated with insurance and being displaced and the enormous "to-do" list it creates. i feel so bad about it. so gram had to leave for pretty much her first week...but she returned for week 2 and were we ever grateful!!! we love you gram and gramps...hang in there!

What a treasure those first few days of bonding were - just so sad they were cut short by the disaster. But this too shall pass -someday!
