late nov - early dec 2010 - first of all, to will "activity" = nativity. just so you know;) emma kate has a little people one in her room. will has a special set from aunt cece and uncle mac in his room and i have one we got as a wedding gift set up on the buffet in our dining room. i was turning on Christmas lights in the dining room one day and noticed that my nativity had been majorly rearranged. and i smiled...because i knew just who had done it. so i asked him about it. and his reply? "well, momma...everybody needs to be able to see baby Jesus". out of the mouths of babes...that pretty much sums up what CHRISTmas is all about, sweet boy!!!

this was our first year to do a box for
Operation Christmas Child...here's will showing his favorite thing for the box;) he helped me do the shopping and wanted to do a little for himself, as well...but hopefully, a valuable lesson was learned in there somewhere. and next year, emma kate will get to do a box, too!

he couldn't wait to get home from our Thanksgiving travels (yes, i realize i haven't posted, nor edited those pics yet...maybe by valentine's day;) so he could put his tree up...he loves all his special ornaments for his special tree:)

and here is big brother showing emma kate how to ring the silver bell on the tree...i used gram's method of trying to have some special "interactive" ornaments down low for them to play with, in hopes they won't destroy the whole tree! works pretty well!

his new hiding place;)

I love it! You make things so beautiful. It is true...USUALLY the words out of a little one's mouth are "almost" straight from God. They are still so innocent themselves. I think that is why we should always work with them once in awhile no matter our age. We have a lot to learn... "remember" from them. Thanks for the Christmas Child Box reminder, too. This year and last year are the first years I haven't gotten mine done (after many years of doing one with Shelby and Jared). I missed it...as I'm sure they did.
