emma kate wishing all the turkey hunters good luck...in her cute camo from uncle neal & kiddos:)

will "helping" daddy load the trailer...

looks classy, huh?!! i'm sure our neighbors loved this display;) will was very impressed with himself and just hung out on the trailer while daddy gathered the hunting gear.

gramps' little shadow around the camp

helping build a campfire:) warren said gramps insisted on a fire for will's first "hunt";)

enjoying their beautiful fire

gramps found a turtle in the woods and brought it back to camp for will!

warren said will kept bumming "rin-rale" (aka gingerale) off of uncle jack...we owe you, uncle jack...we'll stock the honeymoon suite next time...ha!

daddy and will set up a blind close to camp for their "hunt" (all grandmas, etc...don't worry...my 3 year old was not actually hunting, nor was his daddy while will was there...)

when in the great outdoors and nature calls...

gramps' turkey!

warren, uncle jack & chip

brianne feeding emma kate some banana...from our banana split bar...yum;)

04.15.10 - my sweet baby boy headed to the camp with daddy for the first time...still can't really believe i let him go, but i guess that shows how desperate i was to have some off-duty time to get some things done! of course he did great with daddy, gramps and company! he just spent thursday night and then daddy met gram on friday for will to spend the rest of the weekend with her. he had a big time at both...what a big boy! emma kate and i had a girls weekend...had a fun night at charity's...ek slept in the pack & play until the wee hours when we called it a night...such a sweet girl! then i started on her canvas for over her crib...the one i planned to work on during my couple of weeks before her "scheduled" arrival...and since she had other plans, i'm just now getting to it! {still not finished...too many design {etc} orders and no time for my own stuff...not that i'm complaining!}

First of all, that load on that trailer looks just like something his Daddy would have done at his age! What joy!
Then, I love the pics of Will and Gramps sitting around the fire. What wonderful memories of his first hunt.
Oh my goodness, looks like you might become quite the hunter EK. Looking too cute in your camo!! And Wm you are getting this hun ting thing down - packing (so cute), making campfires, making pee-pees in the woods (now, Momma!), etc. Pretty soon you'll be showing Daddy and Gramps how it's done!!! love, gram
