will had his pink eye going on, so he wasn't in good spirits. and he was not going to take a pic with that bunny!
like daddy's bow?! it fell out of ek's hair and he just clipped it up there like it was normal. ha.

the Easter Bunny came on Easter morning!
after church. daddy got sick saturday night and will had a fever saturday night on top of his pink eye, so they both stayed home on Easter morning:( it was sad to not be able to go to church as a family, but we wouldn't want to get anyone else sick!

a little kite flying...our kite was a "stunt kite"...a little advanced for our skills, but we tried!
04.03/04.04.10 - HE IS RISEN!!! thank you LORD for sending your son to die for us...amazing love, indeed! our Easter weekend started out with our church egg hunt. will had pink eye, but i figured it would be okay to go since he would be outdoors and not touching other kids or toys. he definitely was not at his best, but we had a good time. gram and gramps came in on saturday afternoon and we had fun dyeing eggs and playing! daddy got sick on saturday evening and so he and will had to stay home on Easter morning. bummer. but gram, gramps, ek and i enjoyed church and then we had a yummy Easter lunch. thanks for making the quick trip, gram and gramps...promise next time we'll try to be sick-free and better hosts! what is it with major sickness here everytime grandparents come to visit lately?!! ugh.

Whoa...Will's pink eye was really bad. I don't think I've ever seen it quite like that (of course, I really haven't seen much pink eye). Glad that's gone!
I thought you all had to stay home Easter sick. I'm so glad Emma Kate got to go her first Easter even though everybody didn't get to.
