happy half birthday, emma kate! i just can't believe we are here already...it is going by SO much faster with you than it did with will! i guess because we're too busy to enjoy every little moment like we had time to do with him:( we ARE enjoying you...just not at such a leisure pace:( a lady at school stopped me the other day to comment on what a happy baby you are...and how you are always smiling! you are such a joy...such a happy, content and patient baby girl! we love you and your laid back personality...but you are also very determined...and we are loving seeing more and more of your personality! you are rolling over all the time. you sleep like an absolute angel...tummy, back, side...whatever. you are so close to sitting up...you can do 10 or 20 seconds, but then you fall over;) you are pretty much done with the swing. we have to use the shoulder harness to strap you into things or you will squirm out in no time...such a little monkey! you love LOVE the exersaucer and i haven't gotten the johnny jump-up out yet, but i think you'll be a fan! you like to read books and play with toys...so inquisitive and expressive! you're cooing has turned to babbling...i almost cried the first time i heard it...you are just growing up too fast! your favorite thing to say is ba-ba-bahh. sometimes sounds like bubba, which makes will so proud! you love your baths and have just discovered how fun it is to splash in the water! you still aren't a fan of the bottle, and will pretty much only take an entire one from gram...she has the special touch! you are nursing 4 0r 5 times a day and taking 2 or 3 good naps. so far you've eaten rice cereal, applesauce, bananas, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes and squash. we are adding new things every few days and you've been pretty open to most of it. not so much a fan of applesauce and peas, but you will eat them;) such a fun age! love you to the moon, baby girl!
