10.7.09 - we took emma kate for her first doctors appt with dr. payton, and he confirmed what we already knew...she's perfect;) when i say that i have enjoyed every second with her, i really mean it. i heard so many tragic stories during this pregnancy...(and most of them i was connected to in some way or another...whether a friend or friends of friends)...of people who had lost babies in some way or another. the night that emma kate was born...after warren and will had crashed and before our families arrived...i just cried and held my baby girl thanking God for blessing us with a healthy and beautiful baby. so i'm not sure if it's because she's our second and i'm a little more hip to the whole baby thing, or because there have been so many reminders of how precious each and every moment with my babies are...but i truly mean that i am loving every second with our sweet girl. and i'm so thankful for God's amazing grace. wow.i'll have to fill in the stats from the doctors appt at a later date. will is napping and emma kate is napping in my lap as i type...and the paper with her stats is who knows where;) after her appointment, we took her for her first lunch date to one of our favorite spots...yum-my!
