emma kate arrived on 10.3.09 at 1:07 a.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz. and was 19.75 inches long! needless to say, we were not quite ready for her arrival! i had a "plan B" and "plan C" for will in case she arrived before our families were in town. the bartons were in dallas for the hogs game, so we went to "plan C"...a HUGE thank you to our friend Brianne, who came to the hospital at midnight to watch will until i was out of recovery and family could get in town. we owe you BIG time, sister! i'll fill in the rest of the details later...i'm obviously WAY behind on even getting the pics from her birth posted. we are all doing great and adjusting to life as a family of 4 (with help from our gracious grandmas!), but i'm just gonna go out on a limb here and give a little disclaimer...this blog will most likely never be up-t0-date again...just sayin';)
