This one cracks me up because it looks like he's bustin' a move...
There's a story behind Will's Vans...which resurfaced last Christmas. Apparently, Warren had a pair of Vans when he was a kid, which were his all-time FAVORITE shoes. And on a family vacation/road trip across country, his favorite shoes were stinking the whole family out, so his mom threw them away. Which makes me laugh, because it reminds me of John Mayer's song "83" (Whatever happened to my lunch box? / When came the day that it got thrown away? / And don't you think I should've had some say in that decision?) Anyway, somehow this story came up last year, and his mom found out how "scarred" he was by the tragic event. So...guess what he got for Christmas?! (See pics!) So now his Vans are just funny. A few months ago, he found some in Will's size, ordered them and had them shipped to his mom! It was cold when we left for Baby Bookworms at the library this morning, so Will sported his new kicks for the first time! Shots of father/son in their matching shoes to come...;)!

Will - Mom and I really like that picture of you dancing! You're pretty good! I'll only let Mom put Robeez shoes on me. She's trying to work on that. Hope to see you soon! Jackson
How cute! By the way...Warren was "traumatized." I'll never forget him saying that. I never dreamed at the time that we had "traumatized" him....I thought they were just another pair of stinky shoes! Love you guys! Grannie
